I setup this website as an online tribute to my brother, Donald Wayne Hammock, Jr. Donnie was tragically killed in a house fire on August 8th, 1981. He was 18 years old and only two weeks away from entering the Navy. I was 16 at the time. This year marks the 25th anniversary of Donnie's death and I wanted to do something special in his memory.

My intent is to solicit contributions on this site from individuals and businesses around the world. As contributions are made, Donnie's online memorial will come to life on A Million Dollar Memorial Home Page. When you make a contribution, via PayPal or Credit Card, you will have the opportunity to enter in your contact information and website address. The top contributors will be listed on the home page with a link to their favorite website, if specified. All contributors will be listed on an interior page with a link to their favorite website, if specified.

With your help, I hope to raise $1,000,000 or more during the remainder of 2006. Every dollar contributed will help bring the memorial on the home page alive. Each block on the memorial is 400 pixels and there are 40 blocks across and 62.5 blocks down for a total of 1 million pixels. As contributions are made the memorial will come to life by removing the top layer of pixles, which will reveal the image below.
